2nd Half for Him ministries is committed to helping church leaders develop environments that foster spiritual growth in the lives of people over age 50. In 2008-2009 we will:

• Facilitate a one-day 2nd Half for Him Symposium in four to five districts — networking gatherings to share current ministry models, brainstorm new ­approaches and disseminate ideas and best practices to other churches
• Provide and promote opportunities for service through regional and local outreach activities, short-term missions trips and refocusing retreats
• Continue to develop collaborative ministry relationships with Bethel University and Seminary, the ­Senior Living Network, CASA and other entities devoted to ­serving those age 50+
• Publisha bimonthly newsletter with information and resources designed to encourage and equip leaders of 2nd Half ministries
• Consult and coach pastors and church leaders in developing powerful and effective ministries with and through persons in the second half of life
